ENG - Focus: the Caroni Employees series

Caroni Employees is a special rum series created to celebrate some former employees of the distillery, found thanks to the collaboration of the liquidator Rudy Moore, who came in contact with Gargano in 2004 for the acquisition of the last 140 barrels of Caroni remained and found in that year.

The photos of the labels, like most Caroni releases, were taken by the late photographer Fredy Macarini, suddenly passed away in 2020 from a heart attack, who was with Gargano during that mythical trip of 2004 and that returned with him 12 years later to capture all the employees.

Each front label shows the name, nickname and photo of one of the Caroni Employees, while on the back is briefly reported the history of the barrels selected for each release.

The only exception is for one of the 3 bottles who make up the 6th and last release, the Caroni 1996 25 years old 66,6% Caroni Employees United, where the label represents a tribute to all employees, gathered and captured into one photo.

A very rare and iconic series desired by rum lovers all over the world, a worthy closing to this unique journey, started that legendary 9 December 2004.
